Situated on the very edge of Dartmoor, yet easily accessible from the 
Plymouth to Tavistock main A386 road.

Take the A386 main road from the Port of Plymouth, you will  pass the Airport and remain
on the same road. As you approach Tavistock, on the right hand side of the road
you will see a sign indicating the village of Whitchurch and the Whitchurch Inn.
The distance is approximately 15,  miles 7 of which are spent skirting the very edge
of Dartmoor National Park
